Receiving Tasks:

1-Check Deliveries: Inspect incoming goods for damage or discrepancies. Verify quantity and specifications against purchase orders (POs) and delivery notes.


2-Documentation: Record delivery details (date, supplier, invoice number).


3-Report shortages, damages, or overages to purchasing or inventory departments.


4-Coordinate with Suppliers and Transporters: Resolve any delivery issues, delays, or returns.


Store Keeper Tasks:

1-Stock Organization: Store items in designated areas by category, SKU, or FIFO method (First-In, First-Out).


2-Keep shelves, racks, and storage areas clean and orderly.


3-Inventory Control: Track stock levels and update inventory records.


4-Conduct regular stock counts or cycle counts.


5-Issue Materials: Release items to departments based on approved requisitions or job orders.


6-Record item usage and balance.


7-Monitor Stock Levels: Alert purchasing when stock is low or items are nearing expiry.


8-Use inventory software.


9-Safety and Compliance: Ensure materials are stored safely (especially hazardous items).
