Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
System Integration:
- Integrate radar hardware (antennas, transmitters, receivers) with its associated software to ensure seamless functionality.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that subsystems are integrated correctly and ready to get into an operational state.
- Perform testing to ensure the system or sub-system conforms to its specifications.
Testing and Validation:
- Develop detailed integration and testing plans based on system requirements, performance specifications, and regulatory standards.
- Perform functional and performance testing on radar systems, components, and sub-assemblies.
- Utilize test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and Vector Network analyzers to verify radar system and subassemblies performance.
- Execute RF subsystem verification based on standard RF parameters (eg. NF, S-parameters, reflection coefficient, antenna gain, etc )
- Execute system/subsystem testing in laboratories, anechoic chambers as well as in the field.
- Validate system/subsystem performance specifications, such as detection and tracking capabilities as well as the accuracies, the resolutions, under varying conditions.
Automation and Efficiency Improvement:
- Develop and implement automated testing procedures where applicable to improve testing efficiency and consistency.
- Recommend improvements to system/subsystem design or testing procedures based on findings from test results.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field. Master s degree is preferred.
- Fresh graduates or junior level experience in radar
- Knowledgeable in programming and scripting languages such as Python, MATLAB, or C++ for automation and analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive, collaborative, and detail-oriented mindset
- Some knowledge in radar principles, signal processing, and RF (radio frequency) systems is preferred.
