Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in engineering consultancy firms within the UAE. The candidate should have a proven track record in cost estimation, tendering, contract management, and project cost control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, and tender documents.

• Evaluate and analyze contractors’ quotations and bids.

• Handle post-contract activities, including variations, interim valuations, and final accounts.

• Monitor and control project costs to ensure compliance with budgets.

• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and clients on commercial matters.

• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts and claims.

• Ensure compliance with UAE standards, laws, and regulations in all cost and contract-related

activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience working with engineering consultancy firms in the UAE.

• Strong knowledge of UAE construction laws, contract administration, and procurement

procedures.

• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and QS software (e.g., CostX, Candy, Primavera).

• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred:

• Membership/Certification from a professional body (e.g., RICS, CIOB, AIQS) will be an added

advantage.

• Experience in handling projects across residential, commercial, and infrastructure sectors
