Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Prepare and update cost estimates, budget forecasts, and cost plans across all project phases.
Assist in the preparation and evaluation of Bills of Quantities (BoQs), pricing schedules, and tender documentation.
Support contract administration activities in line with FIDIC and Ashghal contract formats.
Perform quantity take-offs and verify contractor measurements and valuations.
Prepare interim payment applications and support in certifying contractor payments.
Track and manage project variations, changes, and claims.
Provide support in claims assessment and dispute resolution processes.
Maintain cost control systems and prepare regular commercial reports.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and project teams on all commercial matters.
Ensure proper documentation, cost records, and contract correspondence are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5-8 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably on infrastructure or highway projects.
Prior working experience with Ashghal projects is strongly preferred.
Sound knowledge of FIDIC contracts and cost control procedures.
Proficient in cost management software (e.g., CostX, CANDY) and MS Excel.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Membership in a recognized professional body (e.g., MRICS) is an advantage.
