Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts for projects.
  • Conduct quantity take-offs, cost planning, and value engineering exercises.
  • Monitor and control project expenditures to ensure cost efficiency.
  • Review contracts, procurement documents, and subcontractor agreements.
  • Manage variations, claims, and risk assessments in line with project contracts.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve cost-related issues.
  • Prepare regular financial and progress reports for management and stakeholders.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field; RICS or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of cost management, budgeting, and construction contracts.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in cost management software (e.g., CostX, MS Excel).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
