Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for earthworks, roadworks, and infrastructure projects.
• Develop and review Bills of Quantities (BOQs), tender submissions, and cost breakdowns.
• Conduct rate analysis for materials, labor, and equipment.
• Evaluate and compare subcontractor/supplier quotations.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and variations.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams.
• Prepare progress payment applications and final accounts.
• Ensure compliance with contract conditions, drawings, and specifications.
Provide support in value engineering and cost optimization
Desired Candidate Profile
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in estimation for earthworks and roadworks projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts (FIDIC or equivalent).
• Proficiency in engineering and QS software such as:
• AutoCAD,Civil 3D
• Primavera P6 / MS Project
• CostX / Candy / PlanSwift / CCS
• MS Excel and other MS Office tools
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and negotiation skills.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
