Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The Quality Officer is a key member of the Program Management department at SETS International. The jobholder supports the development and enforcement of quality management policies, procedures and tools across SETS. He/she participates in setting quality targets, developing quality audit plans and tracking the execution of audits to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

  • Work within the Program Management Department on the development and implementation of action plans to maintain the ISO 9001 certification in the Beirut office and ISO 9001certification, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 in the Riyadh office
  • Provide assistance in the documentation and continual improvement of the Quality Management System. The QMS shall include mainly the Quality Policies, Objectives, Manual, Procedures, Responsibilities which shall be in compliance with the ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements. Support concerned departments to establish quality procedures and achieve overall quality objectives
  • Participate in executing periodic quality audits to check the compliance to quality policies and procedures
  • Identify non-conformances, summarize findings in periodic quality audit reports and recommend corrective and preventive action plans and reports for addressing identified quality non-conformances and preventing recurrence
  • Responsible for ensuring effective implementation of the corrective actions made and maintaining records
  • Provide assistance in dealing with the client s quality requirements / requests during the proposal preparation phase of a project
  • Participate in the delivery of quality training and awareness sessions for SETS staff and newcomers
  • Assist in promoting a Quality culture in the company and motivating all staff to adopt it
  • Monitor KPIs across units and departments as well as project progress
  • Collect data relevant to the monitoring and measurement of processes, record the results of monitoring activities, review and analyze the results
  • Develop and update a database of quality audits and findings

Experience:


  • 2 years of experience
  • Experience with development and enforcement of quality policies, procedures and tools
  • Experience with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001


Education:


  • Bachelor degree in engineering or related discipline
  • Certified Internal or Lead Auditor


Competencies:


  • Knowledge of Quality certification, compliance requirements and audit programs
  • Ability to lead change within an organization
  • Strong attention to details, communication skills, organizational skills, analytical capabilities
  • Strong Proficiency in spoken and written English
  • Good writing skills
  • Good presentation skills for orienting new recruits on QMS
