Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Performs Quality & food Safety Audits to the Central Kitchen, Malak Al Tawouk Branches and Warehouse based on the Malak Operations Review Plan.
  • Evaluate the performance off the entities in compliance with Company s processes and with International and local norms
  • Organize lab sampling as per the lab sampling schedule, analyze results accordingly
  • Prepare and Conduct Basic food safety and Quality training based on the yearly training calendar
  • Collects evidence and data related to non-Conformities spotted during the products
  • Verifies if the central kitchen complies with current standards through daily follow-up and on the spot investigation.
  • Updates GMP and Maintenance Checklist in accordance with business requirements and future
  • Organizes regular visits for suppliers, evaluates suppliers according to a specific evaluation sheet.
  • Ensures that all outlets and franchisees are complying with Food Safety standard and ministry of health requirements.
  • Ensures that the central kitchen is complying with ISO/FSSC, LIBNOR and ministry of health requirements.
  • Collaborates with area managers and outlet managers to solve issues related to food safety.
  • Improves the quality systems through training, direct communication, one-to-one coaching sessions in order to reach objectives and implement the system
  • Adheres to the company s rules, regulations , policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor s Degree in Quality Assurance, Food Science, Biology, Microbiology, Engineering, or any related field.

Technical Skills & Experience:

  • Max 1-year oof experience in similar position
  • Good working knowledge of Food Quality, HACCP, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
