Quality Executive Chifu Agritech Pvt. Ltd (Vegrow)

Role Overview

The Quality Executive will be responsible for inspecting, monitoring, and reporting on

the quality of all banana shipments exported to Umm Qasr. This role involves thorough

quality checks at arrival, identifying defects, assessing ripening stages, analyzing

shipment data, and coordinating with customers to validate and resolve complaints. The

executive will ensure that genuine complaints are backed with evidence and

documented in compliance with company and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Quality Inspection

● Conduct thorough inspection of bananas upon arrival at Umm Qasr.

● Identify and quantify rejects and defects, including but not limited to:

● Determine the ripening stage of bananas using the standard ripening chart.

● Record and document all quality parameters accurately.

2. Customer Coordination

● Liaise with customers regarding shipment arrivals, inspection timelines, and

complaint handling.

● Inspect shipments jointly with customers (when required) to ensure

transparency.

● Verify and validate the quantum of genuine complaints raised by customers.

● Ensure customers provide all mandatory supporting documents (photographs,

traceability codes, temperature logs, complaint reports) when raising claims.

3. Complaint Verification and Documentation

● Scrutinize customer complaints against inspection findings and data logger

reports.

● Quantify actual losses versus claimed quantum and prepare fair assessments.

● Ensure complaint resolution follows agreed timelines and reporting formats.

● Maintain detailed records of all inspections, complaints, and resolutions for audit

and reference.
