Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities :

1. Product Quality Inspection

Inspect raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications.

Conduct sensory evaluations (appearance, color, taste, texture, odor).

Verify product weight, labeling, and packaging accuracy.

2. Production Line Monitoring

Monitor critical control points (CCPs) and ensure compliance with HACCP plans.

Observe hygiene, sanitation, and GMP practices on the production floor.

Report deviations immediately and follow up on corrective actions.

3. Laboratory Testing & Analysis

Perform microbiological, chemical, and physical tests on food samples.

Operate laboratory equipment (pH meters, moisture analyzers, incubation units, refractometers, etc.).

Record and interpret test results, identifying trends or abnormalities.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education :

Bachelor s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Agriculture, or a related field.

Experience :

1 3 years experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance in the food industry (dairy, bakery, beverages, meat, poultry, frozen foods, confectionery, oils, etc.).

Hands-on experience with laboratory testing and production quality checks.

Technical Skills :

Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, and food safety regulations.

Ability to operate laboratory equipment and interpret analytical data.

Solid understanding of microbial and chemical testing methods.

Soft Skills :

Strong communication and reporting skills.

High attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.

Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across departments.

Computer Skills

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Experience with quality management systems (QMS) is a plus.
