Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead and oversee all quality control operations within the manufacturing facility to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems and procedures to guarantee product consistency and reliability.
- Supervise and mentor quality control staff, providing training and guidance to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Analyze quality data and generate detailed reports for management, highlighting trends, deviations, and recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, and supply chain to resolve quality-related issues.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and customer specifications.
- Manage non-conformance investigations, root cause analysis, and the implementation of preventive measures.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality of incoming raw materials and components.
- Drive initiatives for process optimization, waste reduction, and cost efficiency while maintaining high-quality standards.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage quality control teams effectively.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, methodologies, and industry best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using quality control tools, statistical analysis, and reporting software.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards relevant to the packaging or polymer industry.
- Proven track record of implementing process improvements and corrective actions.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
