Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of aluminum products (e.g., sheets, profiles, castings) using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision tools.

  • Monitor production processes such as extrusion, anodizing, and heat treatment to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Perform material testing (e.g., tensile strength, hardness, surface finish) according to ASTM or ISO standards.
  • Document and report non-conformities, initiate corrective actions, and follow up on resolutions.
  • Maintain calibration records for inspection equipment and ensure tools are functioning accurately.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to troubleshoot quality issues and improve process reliability.
  • Support internal audits and customer inspections, preparing relevant documentation and samples.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations related to aluminum handling and processing.

Desired Candidate Profile

Diploma or degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

Experience in aluminum manufacturing or metal fabrication preferred.

Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and quality control tools (e.g., SPC, 5 Whys, Pareto analysis).

Proficiency in reading technical drawings and specifications.

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
