Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

. Monitor the quality of raw wooden materials and ensure they meet specifications before entering the production line.
. Follow up on manufacturing processes and ensure quality procedures are applied at each stage of production.
. Conduct quality tests and inspections on final products (such as durability, dimensions, finishing, and appearance).
. Prepare daily/weekly quality reports and submit them to management.
. Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to identify causes of defects and provide preventive and corrective solutions.
. Ensure the implementation of occupational health and safety standards in the workplace.
. Participate in the development of quality manuals and procedures specific to wood products.
. Train workers and operators on quality practices and quality control within workshops and factories.
. Monitor suppliers' compliance with quality standards related to wood and accessories used.

Desired Candidate Profile

Diploma or bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Wood Technology, Quality Management, or a related field.
. Minimum of 2 3 years of experience in quality control, preferably in the wood or furniture industry.
. Knowledge of different types of wood (natural, engineered, treated) and their properties.
. Familiarity with quality systems and standards.
. Proficiency in using measuring and calibration tools (such as calipers, measuring tape, hardness testers).
. Problem analysis and decision-making skills.
. Ability to prepare reports and maintain documentation.
. Proficiency in computer use and Microsoft Office programs.
