Quality Assurance Specialist MIS Solutions

We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to oversee the quality of all MIS-related products, including web applications, software systems, mobile apps, and dashboards. The QA Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that every digital product meets functional, performance, security, and usability standards before release. You will work closely with developers, project managers, and business analysts to detect and resolve issues early in the development cycle.


Key Responsibilities:


Review and analyze project requirements, specifications, and technical documentation for MIS solutions.


Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts.


Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.


Test across multiple platforms, including desktop, mobile, and web environments.


Conduct performance, load, and security testing where applicable.


Identify, log, and track defects using tools like Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps.


Verify bug fixes and ensure final delivery meets quality benchmarks.


Collaborate with development teams to understand features and resolve issues quickly.


Ensure compliance with UX/UI guidelines, accessibility standards, and security policies.


Contribute to QA process improvement and automation initiatives.


Requirements:


Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.


2+ years of experience in QA for MIS, software, or application development.


Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC, and agile development processes.


Experience with manual testing and automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Postman for API testing).


Familiarity with database testing (SQL knowledge preferred).


Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and mobile platforms (iOS, Android).


Experience with performance and security testing tools is a plus.


Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
