Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all pressure vessels and related components are manufactured in accordance with industry standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining QA systems, conducting inspections and audits, analyzing data, and working closely with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve quality issues.

Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards such as ASME Section VIII, API, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements.
Coordinate with third-party inspectors, clients, and certification bodies during inspections and testing.
Conduct root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for non-conformities.
Maintain accurate QA records, including inspection reports, test certificates, calibration logs, and NCRs.
Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives related to product quality and process control.
Participate in internal audits and support external audits by certification bodies and customers.
Ensure proper documentation and traceability of materials and processes throughout the production lifecycle.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in any related field.
Minimum 1 3 years of experience in QA in the steel fabrication or pressure vessel industry.
Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and analytical thinking.
Certification in quality assurance (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001 Auditor).
Proficient in MS Office and QA software tools.
