Roles & Responsibilities

Position Overview

The QA/QC professional is responsible for ensuring that all products, materials, and processes meet established quality standards and comply with company, client, and regulatory requirements. The role involves monitoring production, conducting inspections, identifying defects or deviations, and implementing corrective actions to maintain consistent product quality.

Key Responsibilities Quality Assurance (QA)
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the company s Quality Management System (QMS).

  • Prepare and update quality procedures, manuals, checklists, and documentation.

  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards and customer-specific quality requirements.

  • Conduct internal audits and coordinate external audits.

  • Monitor process performance, risk assessment, and preventive action plans.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across departments.

  • Review supplier quality performance and recommend improvements.

Quality Control (QC)
  • Perform inspections of raw materials, in-process activities, and finished products.

  • Conduct dimensional checks, visual inspections, and material testing as required.

  • Identify and report non-conformities, and follow up with corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

  • Maintain accurate QC reports, inspection logs, and quality data records.

  • Ensure that products meet technical specifications and client requirements.

  • Coordinate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.

  • Verify calibration of measuring tools and equipment.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field) or Quality Management.

  • Minimum 3 5 years experience in QA/QC roles in manufacturing, construction, fabrication, or similar industries.

  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality assurance principles.

  • Hands-on experience with inspection tools and testing methods.

  • Excellent documentation and report-writing skills.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
