Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking experienced Testing Engineers to play a critical role in the end-to-end testing lifecycle of a large-scale digital platform rebuild for a leading UAE government organization.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-impact program, ensuring the quality, performance, and security of complex digital systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute comprehensive testing strategies aligned with platform architecture and release schedules.
  • Design, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases across web and backend systems.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing, ensuring seamless delivery.
  • Lead QA cycles including penetration, performance, and security testing using industry tools.
  • Utilize Selenium, Postman, JMeter, TestNG, SonarQube (or equivalent) for automation and reporting.
  • Track and resolve defects in JIRA or Azure DevOps, collaborating closely with developers and business stakeholders.
  • Actively contribute to Agile/Scrum ceremonies, providing accurate QA input and reporting.
  • Support UAT cycles in the UAE, coordinating defect triage and resolution with stakeholders.

Desired Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 6-8 years of experience in digital platform testing (web and backend), with expertise in both manual and automation testing.
  • Proven experience in test planning, execution, and documentation of outcomes.
  • Strong knowledge of tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, JMeter, Postman, OWASP ZAP.
  • Understanding of security testing practices, including penetration and authentication/authorization testing.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and hands-on with Azure DevOps (or similar).
  • Experience working in Agile teams delivering in sprint-based models.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication across multi-disciplinary teams.
