Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct routine and non-routine chemical and physical analyses of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.

  • Develop, validate, and implement analytical methods and protocols for quality assurance testing.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records, ensuring all documentation meets regulatory and company standards.
  • Collaborate with production and R&D teams to resolve quality-related issues and support process improvements.
  • Monitor and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
  • Prepare and review quality assurance reports, summarizing findings and recommending corrective actions as needed.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring laboratory compliance with GMP, ISO, and other relevant standards.
  • Investigate and document deviations, non-conformities, and out-of-specification results, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Train and mentor junior laboratory staff on quality assurance procedures and best practices.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and advancements in analytical techniques relevant to FMCG and natural healthcare products.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in a quality assurance or quality control role within the FMCG, pharmaceutical, or food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis spectroscopy, and titration methods.
  • Familiarity with GMP, ISO, and other regulatory standards applicable to laboratory operations.
  • Proven ability to develop, validate, and implement analytical methods.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills for reporting and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and MS Office Suite.
  • Willingness to work on-site and adhere to all safety and quality protocols.
