Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity
- Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.
- Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents.
- Advising managers and clients on improvements and new strategies.
- Keeping track of materials and ordering more when required.
- Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- 1-4 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying or cost engineering.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Proficiency in cost estimation and budgeting techniques.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Familiarity with industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, MS Excel, and cost management tools.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in an office-based environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
