Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Facilitate and drive internal compliance and awareness of QHSE, by ensuring that contract policy/procedures are adhered to and complied with.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Support the implementation of QHSE policies and changes.
- Ensuring Quality and safety are adhered to for all contracted works.
- Maintain contract safety plans and SOP’s.
- Carryout and/ or support the contract operation teams in the completion of risk assessments (inc. COSHH) and development of safe operating methods.
- Ensuring QHSE reporting platforms for the contract are updated, monitored and maintained.
- Collate information for contract reviews, formalize monthly reports to drive continuous improvement across the business.
- Act as the competent person for all health, safety and environmental matters for the contract, advising contract teams and management identifying and responding to current standards and best practices.
- Work proactively with Managers, client and other key employees to establish and maintain a program of continuous improvement in the management of health, safety and wellbeing within their areas of responsibility.
- Development, maintaining and influencing of a strong reporting culture.
- To support management team in and/or lead investigations of occurrences, hazards etc. and ensure corrective and preventative actions are implemented and evidenced.
- Keeping up to date with new legislation and industry best practice.
- Carryout and report on regular sit inspections and audits to ensure compliance with policy / Procedures.
- Support and point of contact for the contract/business in ensuring QHSE requirements are identified and implemented for new contracts / mobilizations.
- Plan practical and effective methods (both preventative and remedial) when promoting QHSE and safe working practices including risk assessments.
- Delivering of IOSH training as required.
- Delivery of Employee safety training as required
Skills & Competencies:
Essential Certification
NEBOSH Qualified or equivalent
Level 3 (Health & Safety Training)
First Aid Trained
Working in VIP / Palace area is added benefit
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering
- 5-7 years of experience in relevant field
