1. Quality Management

• Develop, implement, and maintain ISO 9001 quality management systems.
• Monitor service quality performance metrics for shipping and logistics operations.
• Lead internal and external audits; ensure timely closure of non-conformities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

2. Health & Safety

• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety laws (e.g., OSHA, ISM Code, local regulations).
• Conduct hazard identification, risk assessments, and accident investigations.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs for vessel crews, warehouse teams, and office staff.
• Implement emergency response plans, drills, and incident reporting protocols.

3. Environmental Management

• Ensure compliance with MARPOL and other environmental protection conventions.
• Oversee waste management, emissions control, and pollution prevention programs.
• Promote sustainability initiatives in shipping and logistics operations.

4. Regulatory Compliance

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IMO regulations, port authority requirements, and customs legislation.
• Liaise with classification societies, flag states, and regulatory bodies.
• Ensure facilities meet inspection requirements and certifications.

5. Leadership & Coordination

• Lead the QHSE and coordinate with operations, fleet management, and HR.
• Report performance trends and compliance status to senior management.
• Foster a safety-first, quality-focused culture throughout the organization.
