Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and enforce quality control standards for all plastic flexible packaging materials, ensuring adherence to specifications and customer requirements.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of incoming raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods, utilizing various testing methods and equipment.
  • Lead and manage a team of quality control technicians, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations to ensure optimal team performance.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures, work instructions, and inspection checklists to maintain consistent quality standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in quality control within the plastic flexible packaging industry.

  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of various plastic film materials, printing processes, and converting operations.

  • Experience with quality control testing methods and equipment, such as tensile testers, seal strength testers, and spectrophotometers.
