Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive quality control strategy that aligns with company objectives, ensuring all products meet regulatory standards.
  • Lead and mentor the quality control team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance in quality assurance practices.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections throughout the production process to identify deviations from quality standards and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, and R&D to ensure quality considerations are integrated from product design to delivery.
  • Prepare detailed quality reports for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Analyze quality data and trends to identify root causes of defects and recommend process improvements to enhance product reliability.
  • Stay current with industry regulations and standards, ensuring the organization remains compliant and competitive in the market.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to assess and improve the quality of incoming materials and components.
  • Implement and oversee training programs for staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
  • Manage quality-related documentation and ensure traceability of quality processes and outcomes.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Certification in Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt is highly desirable.
  • Experience in the specific industry related to the company (e.g., pharmaceuticals, food production, electronics) is preferred.
  • Proficiency in quality control tools and methodologies, including statistical process control and root cause analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and make informed decisions to enhance quality.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present quality findings to diverse audiences.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to identifying potential quality issues before they impact production.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, as well as independently when required.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, additional language skills are a plus based on target markets.
