Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive quality control strategy that aligns with company objectives, ensuring all products meet regulatory standards. Highly experienced QC professional experienced with steel section mill with strong expertise in steel rolling/steel melting processes, metallurgical testing, and quality standards etc.
- The candidate must have proven leadership experience in managing QC teams and ensuring compliance with international standards
- Conduct regular audits and inspections throughout the production process to identify deviations from quality standards and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, and R&D to ensure quality considerations are integrated from product design to delivery.
- Prepare detailed quality reports for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Analyze quality data and trends to identify root causes of defects and recommend process improvements to enhance product reliability.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as head of quality control or quality assurance within a Steel Section Mill.
- Certification in Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt is highly desirable.
