Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials and components to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Perform in-process inspections during production to identify defects early and minimize waste.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments and tools to assess product quality and ensure adherence to tolerances.
  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate records to support quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues, providing actionable feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Participate in root cause analysis for non-conformance incidents, developing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Train and mentor junior inspectors on quality standards and inspection techniques to enhance team capabilities.
  • Review and update quality control procedures and policies to align with industry best practices.
  • Assist in the preparation for audits by maintaining organized documentation and providing necessary information.
  • Stay current with industry trends and technologies to implement innovative quality control solutions.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred to ensure strong technical knowledge.
  • Certifications such as Six Sigma, ISO 9001, or CQI are highly desirable for demonstrating quality management expertise.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control within manufacturing or production environments is required.
  • Experience in industries such as aerospace, automotive, or electronics is a plus, given their stringent quality standards.
  • Candidates with a background in statistical process control (SPC) will stand out for their analytical capabilities.
  • Language proficiency in English is essential; additional languages may be advantageous in multinational environments.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are crucial for identifying defects and ensuring product quality.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective collaboration and reporting.
  • A proactive attitude and problem-solving mindset are key traits that will help in addressing quality challenges.
  • Physical ability to handle inspection tasks, including lifting materials or standing for extended periods, is required.
