Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Shall able to understand thoroughly Piping ISO, P&ID drawings, Line List, Line Class etc and involve inspection activities such as Line walk through/punching/ punch closing activities, Skid FAT activities, Piping Fit up, weld visual inspection & Witness hydrostatic test/ line flushing activities, Also complete the Inspection reports /FAT reports signature and get signature from Client/TPIs immediately upon completion of activities.
2. shall have well knowledge in ASME codes (ASME SEC II, VIII, ASME B31.3 etc) and able to understand project specification requirements
3. shall have well knowledge in NDT (RT,UT,MT,PT etc), and able to interpret RT films
4. Shall be able to work independently with very minimal supervision
5. Shall have good communication skill and able to coordinate inspection activities with client and shop personnels.
6. Shall have through knowledge in pressure vessel/piping welding activities, selection of WPS/PQR, Welder qualifications, monitoring, surveillance of shop welding activities and observe & highlight the discrepancies
7. Shall able to do inspections as per ITP and prepare inspection reports on daily basis upon completion of inspection and also coordinate with client/TPIs as required. Raise RFI to client as required.
8. Shall able to Perform material inspection activities and review / accept material certificates as per requirements, review weld summary sheets, test pack reviews to verify project compliance, perform dimensions, visual inspection, witness hydrostatic tests etc, and also as work assigned by QAQC Manager

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Candidate shall be minimum qualified Graduate in Mechanical or Eq & CSWIP 3.1 or equivalent
2. Shall have minimum 5 years work experience in manufacturing workshop
