Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform surveillance inspection for compliance & report on daily basis for the area of responsibility allotted by Manager.
  • Coordinate closely with both subcontractor & site team for daily inspection requirements, ensure necessary IRs are raised well in advance to consultants.
  • Oversee the construction process to ensure adherence to the Project Specification, approved drawings, Quality requirements, Method Statement, ITP requirement etc., while considering safe working practices.
  • Monitor and inspect/verify the material receipt on site in coordination with store personnel for all the project materials for compliance and further raise MIR for consultant’s inspection.
  • Coordinate and participate in daily inspections with consultants for all kinds of Civil/Architectural/ID work and follow up for document closure.
  • Conduct regular toolbox talks about on-going activities to guide site team about the method statement, quality & inspection requirements.
  • Appraise any quality concerns observed on site to management, raise non-conformances / site observations for any deviations/noncompliance observed by site team / subcontractors where necessary.
  • Prepare necessary method statement, relevant ITPs & Check sheets for project’s major activities.
  • Prepare and submit quality reports / snag reports as per company/management requirements.
  • Coordinate with various professionals, including engineers/consultants, surveyors, subcontractors etc., to ensure cohesive project execution.
  • Coordinate with third party for necessary sampling, testing and reporting

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s / master’s degree / Higher Diploma in civil / architectural engineering
  • Preferably having certification in ISO; QMS system (QMS Internal / Lead auditor’s certification)
