Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive quality assurance strategy that aligns with project goals and client expectations.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and audits of materials and processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers and engineers to identify potential quality issues early in the project lifecycle.
  • Lead root cause analysis investigations for non-conformities and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Establish and maintain quality metrics to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee the training and development of staff in quality standards, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies to facilitate inspections and compliance evaluations.
  • Prepare detailed reports on quality performance, highlighting trends and areas needing attention to stakeholders.
  • Manage documentation and records related to quality processes, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for audits.
  • Foster a quality-focused culture within the organization by promoting awareness and understanding of QA/QC principles.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field, with a preference for advanced degrees.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance and control within the relevant industry sector.
  • Certification such as Six Sigma, ISO 9001, or equivalent to demonstrate expertise in quality management systems.
  • Experience in managing teams and leading quality initiatives effectively across diverse project environments.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions regarding quality improvements.
  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in additional languages is a plus for international projects.
  • Proficient in quality management software tools and statistical analysis programs to streamline QA/QC processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to achieving high-quality outcomes and compliance.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment while maintaining focus on quality objectives and deadlines.
