QA/QC Engineer

The QA/QC Engineer/Lead will be responsible for:

1. Quality Planning & Documentation
• Develop and implement Project Quality Plans (PQP), Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), and Method Statements in accordance with project specifications.
• Ensure compliance with company and client QA/QC policies and procedures.
2. Inspection & Testing
• Perform quality control inspections on civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation works (as applicable to project scope).
• Coordinate laboratory and field-testing activities for materials, concrete, welding, coating, and other project components.
• Witness and verify all inspections in line with approved ITPs and standards.
3. Compliance & Standards
• Ensure full adherence to applicable codes, standards, and specifications including:
• ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management Systems)
• ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management Systems)
• ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health & Safety)
• ASTM, ACI, BS, API, and ASME relevant to project discipline
• Royal Commission (RCRC) standards (for applicable projects)
4. Non-Conformance & Corrective Actions
• Identify, document, and close out Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) sessions and define corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
5. Audits & Reporting
• Conduct internal and external QA/QC audits.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly QA/QC reports including material traceability, inspection logs, and quality dashboards.
6. Coordination & Interface
• Work closely with HSE, Construction, and Project Management teams to ensure integrated quality management.
• Liaise with client QA/QC representatives for inspections and approvals.
