Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Source, evaluate, and select suppliers and vendors for interior design materials and services.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure the best value for the company.
  • Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.
  • Collaborate with design and project management teams to understand material requirements and timelines.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure adequate stock.
  • Resolve issues related to delivery delays, quality discrepancies, or invoice disputes.
  • Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations and maintain strong vendor relationships.
  • Stay updated on market trends, new products, and alternative suppliers to support innovation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations throughout the procurement process.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
  • Proven experience in negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in processing orders and maintaining records.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and make data-driven purchasing decisions.
  • Experience working in the interior design, construction, or related industries is a plus.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to resolve supplier issues efficiently.
