Roles & Responsibilities
- Source and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and pricing to maximize cost savings for the company.
- Prepare and process purchase orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all details align with company policies and vendor agreements.
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies proactively, avoiding stockouts and minimizing excess inventory holding costs.
- Track order statuses and communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery, resolving any issues that may arise promptly.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, demonstrating a solid understanding of procurement processes.
- Experience in the manufacturing or retail industry is preferred, with a proven track record of successful procurement.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
