Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist in vendor sourcing and selection by researching potential suppliers, evaluating their capabilities, and preparing comparative analyses to optimize cost and quality.
  • Support the negotiation of contracts and pricing with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in demand forecasting to ensure optimal stock levels, minimize carrying costs, and prevent stockouts.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of supply chain strategies, contributing to process improvements and efficiency gains across the supply chain.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • Holds relevant certifications such as APICS or ISM, demonstrating a commitment to professional development and industry knowledge.
  • Has a foundational understanding of purchasing and supply chain principles, with some internship or relevant experience preferred.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with experience using Microsoft Excel or other analytical tools.
