Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the end-to-end purchasing process, from requisition to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
  • Liaise with suppliers and vendors to negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules, maintaining strong professional relationships.
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with internal departments to forecast purchasing needs and avoid shortages or overstock situations.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Track and report on order status, delivery timelines, and any discrepancies, resolving issues promptly to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness, recommending improvements or alternative sources as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other relevant data for audit and reporting purposes.
  • Support the development and implementation of procurement strategies to optimize costs and enhance efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, company policies, and ethical standards in procurement activities.
  • Assist in the preparation of procurement reports and analyses for management review.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

2-5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain coordination.

Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced office environment.

Strong negotiation and communication skills for effective supplier management.

Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software systems.

Demonstrated ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.

Familiarity with procurement best practices and industry standards.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to process improvement.
