Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • We are looking for a skilled and well-connected Public Relations Executive to join our film production team. This role focuses on managing the public image of our films and company while building strong relationships across the MENA region and international film and media networks. You will lead outreach, media relations, festival communication, and publicity campaigns to maximize visibility and strategic impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement PR strategies for film releases, events, and corporate branding.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, film critics, influencers, and media outlets in the MENA region and internationally.
  • Coordinate press coverage, media interviews, and press junkets for cast and crew.
  • Write and distribute press releases, pitch letters, media kits, and official statements in Arabic and English.
  • Liaise with international film festivals, media platforms, and publicity agents.
  • Monitor media coverage and produce regular PR reports and impact assessments.
  • Support marketing team with social media messaging, announcements, and content coordination.
  • Represent the company in public-facing situations including events, premieres, and press conferences.
  • Handle sensitive communication with discretion and alignment with the brand s voice.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in PR, media, or communications within the film, media, or entertainment sector.
  • Strong media connections in MENA countries, with knowledge of cultural and media landscapes.
  • Existing global media or festival relationships is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in both Arabic and English.
  • Confidence in public speaking and presentation settings.
  • Deep understanding of film PR cycles, press timelines, and international film markets.
  • Strong organizational and crisis communication skills.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Meltwater, Cision, or other PR monitoring systems is a plus.
