Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
1) Visas, Labour & Immigration (MOHRE / GDRFA / ICP)
- Process new, renewal, transfer, and cancellation of employment visas, entry permits, resident permits, and dependents’ visas.
- Coordinate Emirates ID registration/renewal and medical tests with approved centers (DHA/SEHA).
- Prepare/submit job offers, labour contracts, quota requests, and establishment updates via MOHRE e-services/Tas’heel and GDRFA/ICP smart services.
- Track expiries (visas, IDs, passports, labour cards, establishment cards) and renew on time.
- Support onboarding/offboarding (NOCs, experience letters, cancellations, status change).
2) Licensing, Permits & Corporate Documents
- Handle trade licence renewals/amendments (name, activity, partners), immigration & labour establishment cards.
- Manage notarisation and attestations (Notary Public, Ministry of Justice, MoFAIC) and certified translations.
- Liaise with Chamber of Commerce, Municipality, Civil Defense, Police, Customs/Ports, and (if applicable) Free Zones (e.g., DMCC, JAFZA, RAKEZ, IFZA).
3) Compliance & Records
- Maintain accurate PRO logs, trackers, and document files; ensure data integrity and audit readiness.
- Monitor WPS-related documentation and support HR with compliance evidence.
- Proactively identify regulatory changes and advise management on impact and required actions.
4) Government Liaison & External Relations
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with officers at MOHRE, GDRFA/ICP, DED/Dubai Economy & Tourism, Municipality, RTA, DHA/DOH, etc.
- Represent the company at counters/centers (Tas’heel, Amer, typing centers) to resolve issues swiftly.
5) Administration & Finance
- Prepare payment requests and settle government fees/fines; reconcile receipts and petty cash.
- Prepare periodic status reports (pipeline, TAT, upcoming expiries, risks) for management.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Experience: 3–5+ years as a PRO/Government Relations Officer in the UAE (mainland and/or free zone).
- Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of MOHRE, GDRFA/ICP, DED/Economy, Municipality, DHA/DOH processes; familiarity with UAE labour/immigration procedures.
- Languages: Fluency in Arabic & English (written and spoken).
- Tech: Comfortable with UAE PASS, MOHRE & GDRFA/ICP e-services, MS Office/Excel.
- Other: Valid UAE driving license; excellent follow-up, organization, and stakeholder management; high integrity and confidentiality.
