Roles & Responsibilities

The Public Relations Coordinator will support the planning, coordination, and execution of public relations activities, official visits, and institutional campaigns aimed at enhancing the image and visibility of Egypt University of Informatics (EUI). This role ensures alignment with the university s strategic communication objectives and brand positioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in organizing and executing PR events, visits, and campaigns in coordination with relevant departments.
  • Participate in brainstorming and planning sessions to contribute ideas and logistical support.
  • Maintain and regularly update the calendar of visits, ensuring all preparations are completed ahead of schedule.
  • Organize guest speaker visits and coordinate with departments to ensure readiness and smooth execution.
  • Attend preparatory meetings and provide on-site support during PR events and visits.
  • Prepare purchase requests and follow up on PR-related payments and requirements.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for PR events, visits, and related documentation.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as correspondence, scheduling, and follow-up calls.
  • Monitor press coverage and file media materials and press releases related to EUI.
  • Coordinate with different departments to gather information and ensure alignment of PR activities.
  • Meet and greet walk-in parents and students, respond to their inquiries about admission requirements, and conduct campus tours when needed.
  • Coordinate venue bookings and ensure the availability and readiness of required spaces for visits or PR events.
  • Support and accompany TV channels, journalists, and reporters during visits to ensure their needs are met and university protocols are followed.
  • Perform any other related duties assigned to support the department s objectives.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Fresh graduate preferably with 1 3 years of experience in public relations, event coordination, or administrative support (preferably in an academic or corporate environment). EUI Graduate is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with media monitoring tools is a plus.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to represent the university in external interactions.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours during events or visits when required.
  • Reports to: PR & Events Senior Manager
