Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to diagnose mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans and therapeutic interventions for patients.
  • Provide individual, group, or family therapy sessions to address mental health challenges.
  • Utilize various therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic approaches, to aid patients.
  • Monitor and evaluate patients progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated patient care.
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation of patient interactions and therapeutic progress.
  • Offer crisis intervention and counseling during emergencies and sudden mental health bouts.
  • Conduct research and apply evidence-based practices to improve therapeutic outcomes.
  • Participate in continuous professional development to remain updated on psychological advancements.
  • Educate patients and their families about mental health issues and coping strategies.
  • Advocate for mental health awareness and destigmatization in various communities.

Desired Candidate Profile

Doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited institution is required. State-issued license to practice psychology, meeting local regulatory standards. Proven experience in clinical roles, with expertise in diverse therapeutic techniques. Strong ability to empathize and establish trust with patients effectively. Excellent communication skills to convey complex concepts clearly to patients. Strong analytical skills to evaluate patient conditions and formulate treatment plans. Commitment to ethics and confidentiality concerning sensitive patient information.
