Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Drive the alignment of the Digital Transformation (DT) portfolio with business goals, guaranteeing that products contribute significantly to the company's strategic objectives in the area of Human Capital, Corporate Affairs, Legal & Internal Audit.
  • Provide technical leadership to the team of product owners and technical experts, guiding them in planning, building, and running enterprise-level platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute a comprehensive roadmap, making sure that it reflects evolving business requirements and advances EGA's digital leadership.
  • Create a nurturing environment for digital talent, fostering an atmosphere aligned with EGA values and leadership principles.
  • Play an advisory role by assisting stakeholders in identifying business needs, validating industry standards, and providing insights to guide decision-making.
  • Establish and nurture positive relationships within various business areas, identifying opportunities and skillfully handling conflicts and escalations.
  • Understand the intersection of vision, strategy, and execution and utilize this information to lead product progress according to plan, with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes.
  • Manage interdependencies with other product teams and forge partnerships across different teams to enhance the overall success of the product line.
  • Collaborate closely with designated product teams to guarantee the delivery of business value and foster user feedback-oriented development.

Key decisions having significant impact on the department are referred to the reporting manager for approval before implementation.

Job holder exercises financial authority as per the level established by the company board and stipulated in the authority matrix.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related degree . (Master’s Degree preferred)
  • Master’s degree / MBA (Human Resource Management)

Minimum Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role
  • 10+ years of relevant functional / analyst experience in SAP HCM and non-SAP software solutions in HC area, Corporate Web portals, web technologies and mobile app technologies including application integration experience.
  • Implementation experience in SuccessFactors modules and SAP ECC or SAP S4\HANA HCM.
  • Experience providing technical leadership in delivering solutions for corporate web portals, SharePoint sites

Job-Specific Skills (Generic / Technical):

Excellent knowledge and hands-on functional consultant experience in following areas:

  • Experience designing, configuring, integrating and supporting HR (SAP-HCM) business processes in IT solutions using SAP HCM (organizational management, personnel administration, time management, learning management, payroll, compensation & benefits, HR Reporting), ESS/MSS, SAP Fiori and other technologies.
  • Configuration for HCM modules of HR, Benefits, Payroll, CATS, and SAP Time (evaluation & schemas) and Custom Info Types and related configuration.
  • HR Data Migration and Interfaces.
  • HR - FI GL Posting interfaces
  • SAP HCM on S4HANA

Success Factors:

  • Experience implementing Employee Central (EC), Position Management, Performance & Goals
  • Detailed working experience and excellent knowledge in integration between SF EC and SAP HCM
  • Experience on SF MDF, foundation objects, associations, business rules and workflows

Other technologies:

  • Experience leading functional/technical teams working on corporate portals, web technologies, Microsoft SharePoint Online and mobile app technologies.

Excellent working knowledge in following areas:

  • SAP HCM integration with Finance and Payroll
  • Workforce Planning and integration between HC and Finance
  • SAP HCM migration to S4\HANA
  • Migrating from SAP ERP HCM Payroll to SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll
  • Success Factors: Recruitment, Learning Management, Compensation and other modules.

Demonstrated experience in providing technical leadership within an agile development framework, with a track record of successfully aligning products with business goals.

Advanced customer service orientation

Ability to work in a team environment and sometimes independently with minimal supervision as the task may be from time to time

Strong conflict management, facilitation, and resolution skills

Excellent use of the English (must) and Arabic language (preferred)

Excellent relationship building skills

Extensive skill handling personnel from a multi-cultural work environment

Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills

Ability to scan the external environment and to understand the impact on the business

Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills

Good understanding of UAE culture and working environment.
