Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee the Science department team and promote professional development.
Design and implement innovative and effective science curricula.
Monitor teaching quality and student progress, providing guidance and support.
Incorporate modern teaching methods and practical activities to enhance learning.
Manage departmental resources and procure necessary materials.
Organize departmental meetings and collaborate with other departments.
Uphold high standards of safety and compliance in science laboratories.
Contribute to school policies and initiatives related to science education.
Prepare departmental reports and analyze student performance data.
Qualifications:
A 3-year Bachelor s degree in Science or related subject area from an accredited university.
A 2-year Master s degree in Science or relevant field.
B.Ed. in Science (essential!).
At least 2 years of UAE teaching experience in Science at the primary level.
Proven leadership skills, excellent communication, and organizational capabilities.
Experience with modern teaching methods and curriculum development.
A genuine passion for science education and fostering student curiosity.
