Roles and Responsibilities

1. To manage, coordinate & assist overall project development (Civil related) through all phases of design, approvals & construction. Ensure on - time and on - budget completion of projects
2. Detail out budgetary estimates based on high level quotes from Contractors
3. Shortlist Engineering Consulting firms & Construction Contractors based on a tender process
4. Guide & coordinate with the Project team in planning and analysis of- relevant project design and drawings- relevant project design and drawings
5. Monitor Construction progress (Civil related) vis- -vis Ensure Quality compliance
6. Monitor Construction progress vis- -vis planned time & cost budgets
7. Review Meetings with Engineering Consulting firm - overseeing the day to day construction activities
8. Direct Review with Construction Contractors
9. Ensure overall Project Quality compliance2. Contract Management
10. Evaluate tender bids to shortlist contractors
11. Ensure adherence to terms of the contract
12. Review progress report / (Bills) after challenging the project supervisor assumptions and progress report and responding to the project manager quires about the project progress and status
13. Settlement of dues with contractors, if any, after closeout
14. Formulate regular reports to CDO on actual time & cost vis-a-vis budget and schedule

Job Qualifications and Requirements

Knowledge and Experience

• Knowledge of computer assisted Engineering & Design software such as Auto
• Knowledge of alternate methods, materials, construction costs, value-engineering techniques and building/occupancy laws
• Knowledge of Contract management, tendering-bidding-evaluation process
• Knowledge of Quality Assurance, Planning & Control
• Proficient in Project Tracking / Planning
• 2years Overall experience with a minimum 15 year in project management
• Understanding of Project Planning & Management
• Proficient in PRIMAVERA / MS Project
  

Education and Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Civil Engineering / Construction
• Management
• Managers with PMP certification or any such related Project Management
