Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a dedicated Project Coordinator from MEP or Construction Background to join our team to prepare projects documentation and follow-up on completion progress and payments of small to medium-scale renovation, construction, upgrade, and extension projects for a high-net-worth family in the UAE. The role is designed to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the client’s high standards. A well-organized candidate who is adept at balancing office responsibilities, on-site inspections, and contractors meetings, while demonstrating a strong commitment to project success.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Assist the project Engineer in preparing project requirements and develop technical and aesthetic specifications.

· Prepare necessary documentation and secure approvals from municipal and land departments as required.

· Coordinate AutoCAD drawings for initial internal review and client approval.

· Prepare requests for proposal/quotation per client specifications and guidelines.

· Coordinate material sample presentations and secure internal approval.

· Prepare detailed bid summaries as per guided by procurement, aligning with company procurement and tender processes.

· Coordinate necessary NOC approvals from community authorities.

· Prepare contractor access and project deployment logistics.

· Monitor project progress, including the evaluation of civil work, quality standards, and overall project scope, and report findings to Projects Engineer.

· Conduct regular site visits and track project milestones.

· Report any project deviation, variables and lack of contractor compliance immediate to Project Engineer and procurement.

· Follow-up with Finance on payment processes.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or mechanical engineering.

• Valid AutoCAD Certification

• Valid UAE Driver’s License is a must

• PMP Certification is an advantage

• 3 to 5 to years of relevant industry experience, including a minimum of 2 years in the UAE

• Proven experience in projects, fit outs, or renovations valued at a minimum of AED 1.5 million, with experience in luxury materials

Skills & Competencies:

• Excellent time management and coordination skills

• Resourceful report writing and presentation skills

• Project management skills, including Gantt chart proficiency

• Basic knowledge of mapping and photo imaging software

• Excellent collaborator and communicator with external and internal sources
