Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager to oversee the end-to-end execution, coordination, and delivery of all dark store site launches across KSA. This role will act as the central point of contact for all departments and external stakeholders to ensure timely, efficient, and successful site setup and operations. The ideal candidate must have strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of warehousing, logistics, and retail site requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning & Execution:
• Lead the full cycle of dark store launches from project initiation to go-live.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestone trackers.
• Oversee site readiness, including layout finalization, utilities, IT infrastructure, equipment, signage, and safety compliance.
2. Cross-Departmental Coordination:
• Act as the single point of contact between internal departments (Procurement, IT, Operations, Facilities, Finance, etc.) for all site-related requirements.
• Ensure all departments are aligned and deliverables are met within the set timelines.
3. Client Communication & Relationship Management:
• Serve as the liaison between the client and internal teams during the site launch phase.
• Ensure client specifications and expectations are accurately translated into action plans.
• Provide regular progress updates and address concerns proactively.
4. Site Setup Oversight:
• Supervise and validate site preparations including racking, inventory zones, storage conditions, equipment installation, and IT assets.
• Conduct pre-launch audits to ensure all infrastructure and systems are in place.
5. Post-Launch Support & Handover:
• Provide support after site go-live to troubleshoot and stabilize operations.
• Ensure seamless handover of the store to the operations team with all documentation and support processes in place.
6. Regional Coordination:
• Oversee launches in KSA projects as needed.
• Willing to travel and manage or support on-ground site activities.
• Coordinate KSA site rollouts collaboration with local teams.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of project management experience, preferably in logistics, retail, or warehouse operations.
• Proven track record in launching and setting up multiple operational sites.
• Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Must have KSA Driving License
