Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead and manage mining mega projects, ensuring timely and successful execution.
Conduct thorough feasibility studies, evaluating project viability and risks.
Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation and budgeting.
Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and legal departments.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor and control project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks and delays.
Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, providing regular project updates and progress reports.
Manage project finances, including budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to project team members.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience in project management, with a focus on mining or heavy industrial projects.
Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale mining projects.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.
Effective communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in relevant software and technology for project management.
