Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsible for planning and overseeing projects within an organization, from the initial ideation through to completion. Coordinate people and processes to deliver projects on time, within budget and with the desired outcomes aligned to objectives. Act as a point of liaison between the project team and senior management. Monitor and regularly report to stakeholders on the progress of the project. Identify and mitigate risks which may impact successful delivery of projects.

Desired Candidate Profile


· Defining project objectives, project scope, roles & responsibilities.

· Defining resource requirements and managing resource availability & allocation – both internal and third party.

· Outlining a budget based on requirements and tracking costs to deliver the project on budget.

· Preparing a detailed project plan to schedule key project milestones, workstreams & activities.

· Managing and adjusting for any changes in project scope, schedule and/or budget.

· Managing the relationship and communication with the client and all stakeholders, ensuring the project is delivered to their satisfaction.

· Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance by providing purpose, direction, and motivation.

· Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation.

· Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget.

· Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met.

· Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes.

· Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks.

· Develop and maintain partnerships with third-party resources.

· Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables.

· Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan.

· Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.

· Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.

· Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.

· Ensure resource availability and allocation.

· Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.

· Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.

· Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.

· Report and escalate to management as needed.

· Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.

· Perform risk management to minimize project risks.

· Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

· Conducting post-project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements.

· ERP project oversight.


REQUIRED EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering or a related field

A valid engineering license

Certified Associate in Project Management or should have Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

5 or more years' field and project planning experience


REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

Excellent knowledge of design and visualization software such as AutoCAD

Ability to use specialized software for collaboration and time management, including spreadsheets

Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards

Ability to work with multiple discipline projects

Project management and supervision skills

Decision-making ability and leadership skills

Time management and organization skills

Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines

Proven success working with all levels of management

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Excellent presentation skills


LANGUAGE SKILLS

English: ☒ Required

Arabic is a plus
