Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities


  • Manages the day-to-day operational of large-scale building Construction including Industrial, High-rise, Low-rise buildings & Villas.
  • Implementing project baselines; monitoring and controlling projects with respect to cost, resource deployment, time over-runs and quality compliance to ensure satisfactory execution of projects.
  • Coordinate with Consultants, Contractor and other parties as required and Liaising with clients, architects, consultants, contractors, sub-contractors and/or any stakeholder involved for determining technical specifications, timely execution, approvals and obtaining statutory clearances.
  • Coordinating and obtaining permission for project work from various government regulatory authorities.
  • Responsible to control and monitor project expenditure including verifying & checking of invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors and subcontractors.
  • Leading a team of professionals, ensuring suitable deployment and timely availability of manpower.
  • Perform and manage project activity scheduling, monitoring and submit periodic reports to Management on the project progress.
  • Manages project scope and ease risks across project. Ensures all changes to specifications, work scope and drawings are documented for all technical writing report preparation as required.
  • Handling daily/weekly meeting with Management to report progress and escalate issues if any, organising/ participating project review meetings for evaluating project progress, ensure timelines & de-bottlenecking.
  • Ensure that Site Personnel are up-to-date with the requirements of Quality Management System and HSE Policies and Procedures.
  • Participate actively in QMS/HSE audits conducted on the project and ensure audit findings are closed out within agreed closeout dates.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Experience: 14 years with minimum of 10 years in managing industrial projects (Warehouses, cold stores, factories, steel structural projects ...etc) / UAE and GCC Experience
  • Education: Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Technical Skills: Good knowledge in common contract conditions format (FIDIC, JCT, Government etc.) PMP certification or equivalent, negotiation skills, computer skills (MS Project, Primavera) communication skills, safety training and communications skills in English language.
