Project Manager D365

As a Project Manager for Dynamics 365, you will lead, manage and deliver D365 implementation, upgrade, integration, or migration projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope and budget, and meet quality expectations. You will act as the link between business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners/vendors to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle D365 projects (requirements gathering, planning, execution, testing, deployment, go-live, support).
• Define project scope, deliverables, work breakdown structure (WBS), milestones, and success criteria.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, resource allocation, budgets, and forecasts.
• Manage change control, escalate issues, track risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate and manage internal teams (functional consultants, developers, testers, architects) and external vendors/partners.
• Serve as primary point of contact for stakeholders business users, sponsors, executives and communicate project status (milestones, risks, issues) regularly.
• Ensure quality through reviews, testing (unit, integration, UAT), and post-implementation audits.
• Oversee data migration, integration, and system configuration aspects, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
• Drive adoption training, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
• Conduct post-project review / lessons learned sessions and continuous improvement.
• Support pre-sales efforts: scoping, proposals, estimations, and techno-functional assessments.
• Maintain alignment with Microsoft s best practices, D365 roadmap, and industry standards.

Preferred Skills

• Prior consulting or systems integrator experience with D365 projects.
• Experience with ISV solutions, third-party add-ons, or customisation.
• Exposure to Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and the Microsoft ecosystem (Azure, Dataverse).
