Position Title: Project Engineer

Salary and rank: Salary and rank are commensurate with education and experience.

Appointment type: Non-Academic, annual basis (renewable)

Starting Date: Within one month of appointment

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Daily coordination with DU, consultancy engineering teams and all stakeholders.
2. Organize and attend meetings to keep all parties updated on project status and technical issues.
3. Help with project planning and scheduling, ensuring that milestones are met and that the project stays on track.
4. Keep detailed records of communications, decisions, and changes made during the project.
5. Maintain all project-related documents.
6. Maintain all documents related to quality assurance to meet required standards.
7. Prepare and deliver regular reports on project progress, technical issues, and solutions to management.
8. Complete all other related tasks as assigned from time to time by the Director / higher authorities.

Eligibility Conditions for Project Coordinator:

The candidate should be:

1. Bachelor s degree in civil engineering with good academic record.
2. Preferably, at least one year of experience in a consultancy firm and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction field with a reputed company.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English & Arabic with ability to prepare project-related correspondence & documents.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office software (especially in Word & Excel) & AutoCAD.
5. Willing to work in morning & evening shifts as well as on weekends.
6. Knowledge of Quantity Surveying for review of payment certificates.
7. Completed course in Occupation Safety & Health.
