Job Title: Project EngineerLocation: DubaiSalary: AED 8,000 9,000Job Code: 315/001/072Industry: Engineering / Industrial SolutionsJob Brief:We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Engineer to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering projects in Dubai. The role requires strong expertise in project costing, estimating, scheduling, risk assessments, and installation planning. The ideal candidate will work closely with sales, applications, and operations teams to ensure successful project delivery that meets client expectations, safety standards, and budget requirements.Job Responsibilities:Prepare project costing, estimates, manufacturing/installation programs, method statements, risk assessments, lifting plans, and work packs in a timely manner.Collaborate with the sales and applications teams during the bidding process for projects.Manage and control multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with client expectations.Attend client meetings to plan installation, coordination, and execution activities.Enforce site safety procedures and environmental codes of practice during all installation activities.Liaise between customers and internal departments to ensure smooth communication and project execution.Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely completion.Prepare and present project status reports, including project summary reports upon completion.Create project invoices and assist in resolving receivables issues.Complete all project execution documentation for assigned projects.Provide technical instruction to field service representatives regarding installation, operation, commissioning, repair, and maintenance.Supervise subcontract labor and ensure compliance with site safety procedures.Conduct safety inspections and monitor health and safety documentation.Job Requirements:Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering.Valid Driving License.5 7 years of proven project engineering experience in a relevant industry.Experience in project costing, estimating, scheduling, and execution documentation.Strong knowledge of HSE practices, risk assessments, and method statements.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under strict deadlines.Strong communication, client management, and reporting skills.Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools.Preferred Experience:Onsite supervision experience of gas turbine (GT) auxiliary equipment erection and modification.Experience in preparing labor/equipment requirement analyses and price assessments.Background in managing subcontractors for installation and modification projects.Knowledge of installation, commissioning, and maintenance procedures.
