Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee fire door project execution, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and timelines, from inception to final handover.
- Conduct detailed site surveys and inspections to assess existing conditions, identify potential issues, and develop accurate project scopes for fire door installations and upgrades.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, fire safety regulations, and product advancements, continuously enhancing knowledge and expertise in fire door technology.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to fire door installations, providing effective solutions and minimizing project delays.
- Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including submittals, shop drawings, and as-built records, ensuring compliance with relevant fire safety regulations and codes.
- Supervise and provide technical guidance to installation teams, ensuring proper installation techniques, adherence to safety protocols, and compliance with manufacturer specifications.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Civil, or a related field) or equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrates a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in fire door project management, installation, or related fire safety field.
- Exhibits a strong understanding of fire door codes, standards (e.g., NFPA, UL), and fire-rated construction.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Possesses excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Must be able to travel to project sites as required and possess a valid driver's license.
