Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
To provide executive leadership and strategic oversight for the planning, construction, coordination, and delivery of the Football Training Center. The Project Director ensures that all project activities are executed in accordance with the client’s objectives, Saudi Building Codes, FIFA/UEFA standards, and the contractual framework. This role is designated exclusively for Saudi nationals in line with local regulations and client requirements.
Desired Candidate Profile
1-Project Leadership -Provide overall direction, governance, and strategic decision-making for the project. -Lead all phases of the project lifecycle from concept to handover. -Ensure compliance with national regulations, SBC codes (SBC 201, SBC 801, SBC 401, SBC 501), and project standards. -Stakeholder Management -Represent the client and project at high-level meetings with authorities, federations, and strategic partners. -Maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, and government entities (MOMRAH, Civil Defense, SEC, NWC, etc.). -Project Execution & Control -Approve project management plans, risk registers, procurement strategies, and change controls. -Monitor project progress, budget, schedule, and quality performance. -Address and resolve escalated technical, contractual, or operational issues. 2-Compliance & Governance -Ensure implementation of health, safety, and environmental standards. -Oversee compliance with SBC 801 Fire Protection requirements for all project facilities. -Validate and approve design submissions, construction methodologies, and commissioning procedures. 3-Reporting & Documentation -Provide periodic executive reports to management and client authorities. -Ensure accurate documentation for handover, including O&M manuals, as-builts, and certifications.
1-Saudi National (Mandatory Requirement) 2-Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture. 3-Minimum 15+ years of experience in large-scale construction projects. 4-Experience managing sports facilities, stadiums, or training complexes is highly preferred. *Professional Skills -Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities. -Expert knowledge of project management methodologies (PMP, PMI-SP preferred). -High-level understanding of SBC fire, electrical, mechanical, and building codes. -Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and multiple contractors simultaneously. -Key Competencies -Strategic Planning & Execution -Risk Management & Mitigation -Stakeholder Engagement -Contract Administration -Technical Review & Compliance -Team Leadership and Motivation -Budget & Schedule Control
